Things got ugly on Skylar Diggins Night at an Indiana gym.

Diggins, the No. 3 overall pick in the 2013 WNBA Draft out of Notre Dame, had her jersey retired by her alma mater, South Bend Washington (Ind.) High School, on Saturday. Unfortunately, some on-court violence stole the spotlight.

Breonda Green snuffed Oregon-Davis High School’s Lexi Minix after the whistle, as seen in the video below, which WSBT-TV obtained. The video shows Minix initiated things by pushing Green before Green popped her with a right hook.

Oregon-Davis head coach Terry Minix (Lexi’s father) and Washington head coach Maurice Scott (who happens to be Diggins’ stepfather) got into it on the court after the incident and had to be restrained. Diggins, who was in attendance, wasn’t thrilled about it and tweeted that she sticks up for her family.

Green was ejected and will be suspended for a game. Minix reportedly sustained a minor concussion. Check out how it all went down.
