Jarome Iginla Returns to Calgary for First Time as Visitor, Says He Would ‘Love to Win Here’ (Video)

After spending 16 years with the Calgary Flames, Jarome Iginla will take the Scotiabank Saddledome ice as a visitor for the first time in his career.

Although Iginla was the face of the franchise in Calgary for over a decade and the Flames’ leader in games, goals and points, the winger could not be happier with where he is now — sporting the jersey with the spoked-B.

Before puck drop, Iginla spoke highly of his former home, admitting that he was feeling a mix of nerves and excitement as he took the ice, but accompanied by a standing ovation, the Calgary faithful made sure he felt right at home once again.

Check out the above video to hear more about Iginla’s homecoming.
