Jarome Iginla’s Patience With Puck Helps Create David Krejci’s Go-Ahead Goal (Video)

In NESN’s inaugural “fanalyst” segment where the fans help decide which plays will be broken down during an intermission, Billy Jaffe analyzed David Krejci‘s go-ahead goal in the second period of Saturday’s game against the Sabres.

After an aggressive push in the attacking zone by the Sabres, the Bruins controlled the puck and started an odd-man rush up ice. Bruins forward Jarome Iginla brought the puck into the attacking zone and patiently waited for the Sabres defenseman next to him to commit before making a pass to Krejci. The B’s center then roofed a shot above the glove of Buffalo goaltender Jhonas Enroth to give Boston a 2-1 lead.

Check out Krejci’s goal in the video above.
