Joe Flacco must not be very good at Mario Kart, or at least he’s probably susceptible to a well-placed banana peel.
Flacco did his best Koopa Trooper impersonation during the first half of the Ravens’ game against the Patriots on Sunday, winding up on the ground after somehow tripping over himself in the pocket.
Flacco took the ball from under center and was well protected by his offensive line as he stood comfortably in the pocket. The longer Flacco stood back there, though, the more push the Patriots got on the line up front. So, Flacco stepped up into the pocket to get away from the pressure, but, as he did, he seemed to slip on an imaginary banana peel, letting his feet fly out from under him and winding up lying facedown on the ground.
