Bruins defenseman Johnny Boychuk left the ice on a stretcher after taking a hit along the end boards from Canadiens forward Max Pacioretty during the first period of Thursday’s game in Montreal.
Boychuk appeared to hit his head on the dasher just above the boards and was quickly attended to by medical staff from both teams.
