Jonathan Martin hasn’t said much since leaving the Dolphins in late October, but he apparently decided that the holidays were as good a time as any to break his silence.

Martin left the Dolphins in Week 8 after finally deciding he had enough of teammate Richie Incognito‘s reported bullying. The 2012 second-round pick left the Dolphins’ facility during lunch just one day ahead of Miami’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals and has sought treatment near his home in California.

After almost two months away from the team and out of touch with the sports world, Martin resurfaced on Monday to express his best wishes to his almost 20,000 Twitter followers, simply saying “Happy holidays” with the addition of a few emoticons to add some color.

Martin, 24, has not returned to the team this season and it is believed that he has played his last game with the organization. Incognito is also believed to be finished with the organization following a suspension for his alleged actions against Martin.
