Josh BoyceFOXBORO, Mass. — It seems so long ago that the Patriots had a healthy corps of wide receivers.

Those days are long gone now, and New England can add another name to the injured pile. Rookie wide receiver Josh Boyce was not spotted at practice. He appeared to injure his foot against the Dolphins on Sunday. Fellow rookie receivers Aaron Dobson (foot) and Kenbrell Thompkins (hip) missed Sunday’s game with their own injuries.

Left tackle Nate Solder was also missing from practice. He took an inadvertent knee to the head from Dolphins defensive end Cameron Wake in the fourth quarter on Sunday. Solder crumpled to the ground after getting hit. Solder missed last Wednesday’s practice with a concussion.

Left guard Logan Mankins slid over to left tackle to replace Solder in Miami. Undrafted rookie guard Josh Kline filled in for Mankins.

The Patriots were practicing on the Gillette Stadium game field for the first time this season. They were in shells and sweats.
