tom-brady-kenbrell-thompkinsTom Brady will be without two more of his favorite targets Sunday.

The Patriots ruled out rookie wide receivers Kenbrell Thompkins and Aaron Dobson for the game against the Dolphins. Thompkins hurt his hip in Week 13 against the Texans and sat out last Sunday against the Browns. Dobson had been dealing with an injured foot since aggravating it in Week 12 against the Broncos and now will have missed four games this season.

Rookie Josh Boyce filled in for Thompkins and Dobson across from Julian Edelman last Sunday. Boyce caught three passes for 49 yards, and Brady also was intercepted on his first target to the rookie.

New England also will be without tight end Rob Gronkowski, who was lost for the season last Sunday when he tore his ACL and MCL. Brady’s options will be limited this Sunday without Thompkins, Dobson and Gronkowski.
