Knowshon Moreno is a real American. He might even deserve some Hulk Hogan entrance music the next time he takes the field at Mile High Stadium.
Moreno, who is enjoying a breakout season with the Broncos, was looking to follow up on his career-high 224-yard performance against the Patriots last week. Before he and the Broncos took the field in Kansas City, though, they went through the typical pregame routine, including the singing of the National Anthem, which apparently got Moreno all emotional.
The CBS cameras caught Moreno tearing up during the singing of the “Star Spangled Banner” at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, if you can even call it that. Moreno’s version of crying looked more like someone had replaced his tear ducts with high pressure water faucets. The tears poured out of Moreno’s eyes and streamed down his face like they were being shot out of a water hose.
