Kobe Bryant will return to the court this weekend, although he picked a weird way of announcing it.
In a two-minute long video featuring a No. 24 Lakers jersey blowing in the wind and getting pelted by rain — with nothing visibly holding the jersey up in the air — Bryant declared on his Facebook page that he would make his season debut Sunday against the Raptors. Well, actually, the video says, “Season of a legend. Lakers announce Kobe’s return,” along with a date, Dec. 8.
The result is kind of, sort of laughably bad, like Bryant took a beginner’s course in iMovie at a community college and this was his final project. But who are we to question him for wanting to expand his employable skills during his downtime?
