Luke Kuechly has a lot of great moves on the football field, and that is where he should keep them.

The Panthers’ Pro Bowl linebacker is a force to be reckoned with on the field, using a combination of speed, strength and agility to become one of the NFL’s best defenders. However, his reputation on the dance floor isn’t quite as sterling.

Kuechly spent some time on Wednesday at a Play 60 event in Springfield, N.C., during which he and the school’s first-grade teacher competed in a dance-off on stage in front of the entire school. The 2012 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year didn’t exactly win himself any awards on the stage, though, showing off a combination of classic “white boy” moves. He was so bad, in fact, that teammate Steve Smith was forced to throw his hat at Kuechly in an attempt to stop him at one point.

Don’t quit your day job, Luke.
