Milan Lucic was never able to find his groove in last season’s lockout-shortened campaign, but those struggles are a thing of the past for the power forward, who in 2013 leads the Bruins in goals with 11.
Lucic tallied just six goals in 41 games during his frustrating 2012 season, and the winger was even a healthy scratch one game for the B’s, but Lucic has returned to the player the Bruins were hoping he would be when they signed him to a three-year, $18 million extension in 2012.
Regaining his scoring touch and establishing his physical presence on the ice, Lucic has returned to his dominating ways, surpassing all statistics from last season in just 27 games.
