Minnesota Wild, Xcel Energy Center Make Jimmy Buffett-Themed ‘Parrothead’ Sweater for Singer (Photo)

When thinking of singer Jimmy Buffett, images of white sandy beaches, margaritas and loud, Hawaiian shirts come to mind. Those things certainly don’t come to mind when thinking about ice hockey in Minnesota, but the Wild are hoping to evoke those images with a special custom-made sweater.

Buffett is slated to perform at the Wild’s home at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul on Tuesday, while the Wild travel to Chicago to take on the Blackhawks. In honor of having the Margaritaville legend in their building, the Wild and the arena be presenting Buffett with a “Parrothead” sweater.

In true Buffett fashion, the sweater features a pattern of large, tropical leaves on a red background. It’s like hockey, Key West-style. Check it out in the photo below.
