Nate SolderFOXBORO, Mass. — The Patriots are running out of tackles on both sides of the ball.

The troubles started on the defensive side early in the season when New England lost Vince Wilfork and Tommy Kelly for the season. The next hit came when offensive tackle Sebastian Vollmer suffered a season-ending leg injury.

Marcus Cannon filled in for Vollmer for three starts before suffering his own ankle injury. Will Svitek has started in Cannon’s place. The latest hit came on Wednesday when left tackle Nate Solder missed practice with a concussion. Solder played every offensive snap for the Patriots on Sunday against the Browns.

Aaron Dobson also missed practice with a foot injury. He’s missed the last two weeks of practice since getting hurt against the Panthers.

Kyle Arrington (groin), Tom Brady (right shoulder), Cannon (ankle), Marquice Cole (shin), Alfonzo Dennard (knee/shoulder), Steve Gregory (finger), Michael Hoomanawanui (knee), Brandon Spikes (knee), Will Svitek (hip) and Kenbrell Thompkins (hip) were limited in practice.

Danny Amendola (groin), Matthew Slater (wrist) and Shane Vereen (wrist) were full participants in practice. With 16 players listed on the injury report, we’re getting to the point where it may be easier to list the healthy players.
