The Newton Tigers are an incredibly competitive bunch, and when they took on a crew from NESN Connects on Saturday in floor hockey, the matchups didn’t disappoint.

The Tigers are a local organization that gives special needs athletes the opportunity to play sports, be active and have fun. The group has been going strong for 13 years now, and was the brainchild of two Newton dads. The result has been an energetic and dedicated group that meets every weekend to battle it out on the playing field while also supporting one another.

Check out the video above for some of the sights and sounds from NESN’s most recent visit with the Tigers.
