The Patriots have already lost a handful of playmakers this season, and they might be moving on without yet another.
Rob Gronkowski suffered a gruesome leg injury during the second half of the Patriots’ game against the Browns on Sunday, and things aren’t looking good, according to Pro Football Talk. Gronkowski will undergo an MRI on his right knee on Monday, Â but early tests are not encouraging, per the report.

Browns safety T.J. Ward delivered a brutal hit to Gronkowski’s legs on a 21-yard catch by the tight end midway through the third quarter. Gronkowski went down immediately and began grabbing at his knee as he was left writhing in pain.
Gronkowski, 24, missed six games earlier this season following multiple offseason surgeries on his forearm and back.
The Patriots have already lost Pro Bowl defensive tackle Vince Wilfork, Jerod Mayo and tackle Sebastian Vollmer for the season.
