Report: Two Suspects in Custody After Homicide at Arrowhead Stadium During Broncos-Chiefs Game

Two suspects are in custody following a homicide at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday evening.

According to the Kansas City Star, police apprehended two suspects after a man was killed in an altercation in the Arrowhead Stadium parking lot during the Broncos-Chiefs game. Kansas City Police Chief Daryle Forte said authorities were sent to parking lot A to investigate.

Officers arrived around 5 p.m. and found a white male in his 30s unconscious on the pavement, according to the report. The Kansas City Star is reporting that the victim was inside someone’s vehicle when the owner of the car arrived, leading to the altercation.

The cause of death has not yet been determined, but Sports Illustrated’s Robert Klemko is reporting that the man was not shot or stabbed.
