The Redskins’ regular season may have been a nightmare, but their Christmas season wasn’t so awful.

Robert Griffin III ensured that his linemen had a little something extra to smile about on Christmas morning, surprising his O-line with Xbox One consoles on Tuesday. While sporting a Santa hat, the Washington quarterback hand-delivered the gifts to his teammates on Christmas Eve to say thank you for all their hard work this season, despite the team’s overall struggles.

“It’s the giving season,” Griffin III said. “It doesn’t matter what our record is; I still appreciate those guys. We’re all going through this together right now. I just wanted to bring a little joy into Redskins Park.”

Griffin reportedly accomplished that mission, as Redskins.com revealed that tackle Trent Williams “jumped up and down and hugged his quarterback.”
