Mark Scheifele needed some assistance to get off the ice Saturday afternoon, but the rookie centerman probably would’ve liked to reach his bench on his own accord.
During the first period of the Dallas-Winnipeg matchup, Stars forward Ryan Garbutt welcomed Scheifele to the NHL with a check that sent the young player flying. Garbutt leveled the Jets winger, flipping him over the boards and directly into the Winnipeg bench.
