Texas High Schooler Sinks Over-the-Head 3-Pointer While Falling Out of Bounds (Video)

We’ll be upfront with it: This shot is not as incredible as the no-look, behind-the-back bucket Virginia high schooler Marvey’o Otey made while running out of the gym last week. But it’s still a shot Jeremy Geist will probably never hit again.

In a Texas high school basketball game on Friday, Geist came away with a steal in the frontcourt. He was unable to come up with possession, though, and chased after the ball as it bounced toward the sideline.

Geist caught up with it just inside the boundary and heaved up an arching shot with his back to the basket. The sophomore soared out of bounds, but his shot somehow found the net, swishing through for one of the more improbable 3-pointers of the season.

Check out the shot in the video below, with a hat tip to MaxPreps.
