Tom Brady, Logan Ryan, Julian Edelman Among Big Winners in Patriots End-of-Season Awards, Superlatives

Tom BradyFOXBORO, Mass. — The regular season is in the rearview mirror for the New England Patriots, and a whole new season is set to begin.

The Patriots capped off their whirlwind year Sunday with a commanding but unspectacular 34-20 win over the Buffalo Bills. If there’s such thing as momentum in football, New England has it after two blowout wins.

It’s been one of the most eventful seasons in franchise history for the Patriots. Through tight end Rob Gronkowski‘s injuries, tight end Aaron Hernandez‘s arrest, wide receiver Wes Welker‘s departure and the numerous injuries on offense and defense, it seems like New England has faced every ounce of turmoil possible. And the receivers even had to catch passes from now-TV analyst Tim Tebow this summer.

There’s no better way to recap a crazy 2013 than to go through this year’s season awards and superlatives.
