Rob FordRob Ford likes football. Whether he’s sporting a Toronto Argonauts jersey during a press conference, showing off his old school NFL necktie or cheering on the Buffalo Bills while chowing down on chicken wings, the Toronto mayor isn’t afraid to show his fandom.

With such an affinity for the NFL and sports in general, it was only a matter of time before the controversial mayor of Canada’s largest city got his own weekly radio spot. And, according to CBS Washington, it appears that The Sports Junkies on 106.7 The Fan in Washington, D.C. have finally locked him down — if that’s even possible.

Ford will make a weekly appearance on the popular morning show on Thursdays at 8:40 a.m. He’ll join the four-man team of John Martin Auville, Eric Carlton, Bickel Jason William Bishop and John-Paul Flaim on the weekly spot to talk all things sports and, of course, make his weekly NFL picks.
