Fans who wandered into the San Francisco 49ers team store Thursday found a rather interesting item available for sale.

The store is selling a pair of game-used, pleated khaki pants worn by coach Jim Harbaugh this season. For those interested in owning a piece of 49ers history, the cost is $500.

Harbaugh’s khaki pants became famous when his wife recently told a San Francisco radio station that he has bought them at Walmart for the bargain price of $8.

The 49ers coach certainly doesn’t earn any style points with his sideline attire, but it’s hard to argue with the success of his team since he took over before the 2011 season. San Francisco has made three NFC title game appearances in Harbaugh’s tenure with the team, including a Super Bowl berth last season.

His team will take on the rival Seattle Seahawks in Sunday’s NFC Championship Game.
