Aaron DobsonFOXBORO, Mass. — The New England Patriots could get a boost in their wide receiver corps.

Rookie wideout Aaron Dobson has practiced this week for the first time since Week 17. Dobson injured his foot in the Patriots’ regular-season finale against the Buffalo Bills, but the deep threat could be back for Sunday’s AFC Championship Game against the Denver Broncos.

“It’s feeling better,” Dobson said about his foot. “I’m just out here taking it one day at a time to see how it feels.”

Dobson still is unsure about his status, but he said he’s going through the process thinking he will play.

“Definitely. But I really don’t know right now,” Dobson said. “Go out there today, see how it feels and go from there.”

Dobson had 37 catches for 519 yards and four touchdowns during the regular season.
