Roy Hibbert could be pulling everyone’s leg, or he could have some inside information on the unconventional thought patterns of Andrew Bynum. Either way, his latest tweet is an interesting one.

The Indiana Pacers big man jumped into the Bynum rumors on Tuesday night. He tweeted that Bynum, rather than being done with basketball because of disinterest, or being traded to another team in a salary dump, is actually hoping to be flipped to a contender. Hibbert says Bynum, who is currently suspended from the Cleveland Cavaliers for conduct detrimental to the team, wants to play for the Los Angeles Clippers or Miami Heat.

Bynum has been both a punching bag and a laughingstock in the NBA in recent years, with his erratic behavior over the last couple of seasons following years of injury-plagued underachievement. The Cavaliers took a chance on him this season after he failed to play a single game for the Philadelphia 76ers last year, and now Hibbert has found his own way to say what much of the league already knows: Joke’s up, Bynum.
