The NFL is hoping that some new rules and a new roster format will help attract more viewers to the Pro Bowl this season. Apparently some players aren’t taking the bait.
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has played in a pair of Pro Bowls (2007 and 2011) in the past, but, seeing as he wasn’t selected for a team this season, he decided against even watching the game. Instead, Big Ben opted to take in one of his other interests at the WWE Royal Rumble.
A grizzly-looking Roethlisberger was hanging out down near ringside and watching one of the major wrestling events of the year, which conveniently was taking place in Pittsburgh, Pa., this year.
