Cam Newton took the field for his NFL postseason debut on Sunday, and he was rocking some special cleats for the occasion.

Newton, who led the Carolina Panthers to a 12-4 record and the No. 2 seed in the NFC this season, was sporting some fresh blue and red Under Armour kicks at Bank of America Stadium during Sunday’s NFC divisional playoff game. The color scheme was pretty sweet on its own, but the velcro straps on the back of his cleats, which read “SuperCam,” made them even sweeter.

The Panthers made the playoffs for the first time in five seasons, but they’ll be hard pressed to move on this postseason as Colin Kaepernick and the reigning NFC champion San Francisco 49ers might just prove to be their kryptonite. So, Newton will have to do more than just rock some Superman gear to get them to Seattle for the NFC Championship Game next weekend.
