A 7-1 blowout win against the Toronto Maple Leafs was made even more enjoyable for Dallas Stars fans when the team poked fun at one particularly famous Leafs fan — Justin Bieber.
During the second period, the Stars put Bieber’s recent mug shot on the jumbotron with “Maple Leafs Fan” below. The picture quickly went viral, prompting the Stars to continue their trolling efforts. They posted a photo of Bieber practicing with the Maple Leafs to their Instagram, with the score after the second period added.
While Bieber bore the brunt of the Stars’ fun, Toronto Mayor Rob Ford also made an appearance on the jumbotron, much to the chagrin of Sportsnet reporter Barry Davis.
