Regardless of the outcome of the NFC Championship Game between the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks, the sports world can agree that the real loser in advance of the title game is Jim Harbaugh‘s pants.

The 49ers coach has taken some serious heat for his wardrobe choices this week after his wife revealed her disdain for his khaki pants that he buys at Wal-Mart for the bargain price of $8.

Now, the fashion police are beginning to intervene. Bonobos, a men’s clothing company, is attempting to get Harbaugh to ditch his pleated pants for a good cause. The company is offering to give Harbaugh 10 free pairs of pants and a $10,000 donation to a charity of his choice if he accepts the new threads.

Bonobo’s penned an open letter to the 49ers head coach pleading their case, and although the Miley Cyrus angle might not convince Harbaugh to change his look, the “happy wife, happy life” approach might do the trick.
