Jimmy Graham Exchanges Words With Bruce Irvin, Bobby Wagner, Other Seahawks Before NFC Playoff Game (GIFs)

It didn’t take long for New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham to start ruffling feathers Saturday.

Graham exchanged words with several Seattle Seahawks players, including linebackers Bruce Irvin and Bobby Wagner, prior to pregame warmups. The two sides needed to be separated, creating even more tension in advance of Saturday’s Saints-Seahawks NFC divisional playoff game.

According to reports, Graham got into it with Irvin while warming up near the Seahawks’ bench. Graham then reached out and ripped a knit cap off Irvin’s head, which prompted other Seahawks players to join the fray. A Saints staff member intervened, but words reportedly were exchanged for another minute or so before Graham moved to the opposite side of the field.

It’s the playoffs, ladies and gentlemen. The madness comes early and often.
