The Los Angeles Dodgers have a new slogan for 2014: “Live. Breathe. Blue.”

The Dodgers will use the slogan in advertising, marketing and digital campaigns that will be incorporated across Los Angeles in 2014. The Dodgers used the tagline, “A Whole New Blue,” for the 2013 season, in which Los Angeles advanced to the National League Championship Series.

“Our new tagline encapsulates how each of our fans feel about the Dodgers organization,” Dodger executive vice president and chief marketing officer Lon Rosen said, according to MLB.com’s Dodger Insider blog. “We feel it is a natural evolution of last year’s slogan, ‘A Whole New Blue.’ The Dodgers have given and will continue to give our fans reasons to believe in the team during the 2014 season.”

The Dodgers, a team stacked with talent, got off to a shaky start in 2013, but recovered to win the National League West. The St. Louis Cardinals proved to be too much, though, and L.A. was ousted in the NLCS. The Dodgers again will field a strong roster in 2014, and we now know the slogan that will accompany the star-studded bunch.

“Live. Breathe. Blue.” reportedly was created in partnership with Walton Isaacson, the club’s advertising agency.
