A massive storm dropped more than a foot of snow on the New York/New Jersey area earlier this week, creating conditions at MetLife Stadium that would either be ideal or disastrous for Super Bowl XLVIII, depending on who you talk to.

The storm hit a full week and a half before the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos are set to take the field on Feb. 2, but it gave fans a look at the methods the Super Bowl organizing committee is using to combat weather issues that were never present at the big game in years past.
Snowplows, shovel gangs and bulldozers were out in full force Wednesday morning. The stadium crew also has set up a massive tent over one end zone to keep the fresh paint safe from the elements.
