Horton will make his Blue Jackets debut in Arizona when Columbus takes on the Phoenix Coyotes. Horton has been recovering from offseason shoulder surgery.
Horton signed a seven-year deal worth $37.1 million this offseason after spending the previous three seasons in Boston, where he scored 56 goals in 169 regular-season games. The big winger was even better in the playoffs, where he scored 15 goals in 43 games, playing a key role in two trips to the Stanley Cup Final, which included a win in 2011.
Horton must wait until next season to face the Bruins, though. Boston and Columbus already have finished their season set, with the Bruins taking all three games.
