Tom Brady can’t catch a break in the high-five department.

The quarterback’s struggle to get a high-five is well documented, and the trend has continued in the postseason.

After Brady was stiffed for a second time in Week 16, wide receiver Julian Edelman promised to hand out a high-five the next time he saw the quarterback looking for one. But it appears Edelman wasn’t true to his word, as a photo of the Patriots after their divisional-round win over the Indianapolis Colts shows Brady all alone, hand up for a high-five, while his teammates celebrate with one another a few feet in front of him.

There may be some method to the madness, though, as Edelman recently told NFL Network’s Mark Kriegel, “Sometimes you just gotta let Tom be Tom.” Edelman insinuated that Brady sometimes needs to be brought back down to earth, keeping him around the same level as his teammates.

Check out the photo below of Brady struggling to get a high-five yet again.
