Peter Budaj, Not Carey Price, Starts In Net For Canadiens Against Bruins (Video)

The Montreal Canadiens are looking to turn around their season in Thursday night’s matchup against the Boston Bruins at TD Garden, but they aren’t starting their No. 1 goaltender, Carey Price.

Instead, the Canadiens will start veteran backup Peter Budaj, who has five career starts against the Bruins. Price has been struggling of late with a 2-5 record in his last seven games, but an important rivalry matchup against Boston is the type of game you’d expect a goalie of his caliber to start.

Boston will counter with Tuukka Rask in net.

Check out the video above for more analysis on Montreal’s goaltending decision.
