Rob GronkowskiAlas, just when Rob Gronkowski was given another long layoff from football and a chance to visit his Florida abode, his home has been bought.

The Patriots tight end, who put his South Tampa mansion on sale earlier in 2013, finally moved the property over the holiday stretch, according to the Tampa Bay Times. He got $2.08 million back for the place, which he originally put on the market for $2.4 million but was asking for as little as $1.6 million for at one point, according to reports.

The property, previously best known as the football star’s “party house,” has several interesting amenities. The three-story pad has “a wood-paneled elevator, custom-built fish tanks and a casino-style security system,” according to the Times. It was originally offered with a couple of jet skis, too, but the buyer did not end up taking those in the final sale.

Take a look at what Gronk gave up for more time in New England.
