Portland Trail Blazers guard and MVP hopeful Damian Lillard was all ready to add a vicious posterization to his resume Wednesday night, but Victor Oladipo had other plans.
Lillard took a feed from Nicolas Batum on a fast break and elevated to throw down over Oladipo, but the Orlando Magic rookie positioned himself perfectly and foiled Lillard’s bid with an emphatic right-hand slap.
Oladipo’s block was one of the few bright spots in an overall lackluster performance by the Magic, who dropped a 110-94 decision for their fifth consecutive loss and eighth in their last 10 games.
The play did make for a nice poster, though.
