Lolo Jones is no stranger to headlines. The U.S. track and field star has a massive media presence, and is one of the most recognizable names on the U.S. Olympic squad.
She’s competing as a member of the bobsled team in this year’s Olympics in Sochi, and while her inclusion over some of the sports’ veterans garnered some questioning, Jones has proven that she can compete with the world’s best in a sport well removed from the warm weather and hurdles of a track course.
Whether she deserves a spot in the Winter Olympics, or has been able to use her social media machine to advance her position among athletes, Jones remains one of the most popular U.S. Olympic athletes.
