Another person with ties to former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has wound up a victim of violence amid mysterious circumstances.

Alexander Bradley, a Hernandez associate, was shot several times in the leg Sunday night at a Hartford, Conn., nightclub, according to The Hartford Courant. After Bradley was shot, he went out to his car, got a gun and went back to the bar and fired shots, Hartford police said.

In June, Bradley filed a lawsuit against Hernandez, saying the former Patriots player shot him in the face after an altercation at a Miami strip club the previous year. Hernandez invoked his Fifth Amendment right in the case.

Recently released search warrants say Bradley was seen going into a club in Boston the night of a double homicide in the city’s South End in 2012. According to the search warrants, Hernandez was inside the silver SUV that was involved in the drive-by shooting that left two men dead and another man injured that night.

Neither Bradley nor Hernandez has been charged in that crime.
