Surprisingly enough, the band that bills itself as “America’s most patriotic rock band,” performs a pretty horrible rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner.”
Unfortunately, NASCAR learned this the hard way on Saturday, when the guys of Madison Rising sang the national anthem before the Nationwide Series race at Daytona. Their version of the song starts off a little shaky, but by the one-minute mark it moves into full-on ridiculous mode, which is evident by the confused looks on the faces of the drivers.
