It took just five minutes for Billy Joel to sell out Fenway Park on Saturday.
Tickets for the six-time Grammy winner’s June 26 performance went on sale at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning, and by 10:05 a.m. Boston had claimed them all.
The highly anticipated show marks the first time Joel will play at Fenway Park, and it will also be his first solo headlining concert in Boston in five years.
Joel has sold more than 150 million albums globally, and the singer/songwriter/composer is the sixth-best-selling recording artist of all time as well as the third-best-selling solo artist.
