Canadian Sisters Take Gold, Silver in Ski Event, Have Fun With Medals (Photo)

Montreal sisters took gold and silver in the women’s mogul competition Saturday night in Sochi.

Justine Dufour-Lapointe, who is just 19 years old, took home the gold, while 22-year-old Chloe snagged the silver.

But it doesn’t end there. Another sister, 24-year-old Maxime, placed in the top 12 of the same competition. Talk about impressive genetics.

“Today, it was my day,” Justine told the New York Times after her event. “The last run was my run.”

The Canadian sisters edged out Hannah Kearney of Team USA, who won the gold medal in Vancouver in 2010. Kearney took bronze.

Although the Dufour-Lapointe siblings are now distinguished athletes, they aren’t above having a little fun with their prized medals. Check out the sisters celebrating with their newest accessories in the photo below.
