Chris Capuano was signed to a one-year, $2.25 million contract earlier this month and will add valuable depth to the Boston Red Sox’s pitching staff in 2014.
The veteran left-hander has been a starter for most of his career, but with the Red Sox already having a full rotation, Capuano could serve in a bullpen role to start the regular season. Regardless of which role he’s given, the 35-year-old is just looking forward to helping the team win games and get back to the World Series.
Check out the video above to watch Capuano discuss his move to Boston during an appearance on NESN’s Red Sox LIVE from Fort Myers.
