Golf was never the same after Harold Ramis got his hands on it.
Ramis, who directed “Caddyshack,” passed away early Monday morning. He died of complications of autoimmune inflammatory vasculitis, a rare disease that involves swelling of the blood vessels. He was 69.
The actor and writer was involved in many blockbusters, including “Stripes,” “Ghostbusters” and “National Lampoon’s Animal House.” “Caddyshack” wasn’t his only sports-themed movie, either, as he also appeared in “Stealing Home” and co-wrote the 1976 TV movie “Super Bowl.”
