Boston Red Sox closer Koji Uehara said Monday that “nothing has changed” since he helped lead the Sox to a World Series championship four months ago. But Uehara’s surprise success has led to some added notoriety in his native Japan.
The 38-year-old right-hander recently parlayed his 2013 accomplishments into an endorsement deal with Suntory, a Japanese beer company.
