The Los Angeles Lakers have been absolutely decimated by injuries this season, but Chris Kaman isn’t complaining about all the extra room that leaves him on the bench.
With Steve Nash, Pau Gasol, Jodie Meeks and Jordan Hill all sidelined for Wednesday’s matchup with the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Lakers dressed only eight players. That number only dwindled as the night went on, though, when Nick Young left the game with a twisted left knee and did not return.
Despite being shorthanded, the Lakers still handled the Cavs with ease, so Chris Kaman decided to take advantage of all of the empty seats around him and take a little snooze.
How empty is the Lakers bench? So empty a 7-foot center can lounge comfortably.
