The Toronto Maple Leafs haven’t been able to catch a win in Florida yet this week, but Nazem Kadri did snag something while in the Sunshine State.
After falling to the Florida Panthers on Tuesday, the Leafs headed out to the high seas on their off day Wednesday during their team’s annual Fathers’ Trip. The boys didn’t put on a very good show for their dads in the first game of their Florida swing, but Kadri made up for some of that disappointment by catching a shark while out in the Gulf of Mexico.
Granted, the fish was the Nathan Gerbe of sharks — that small — and Kadri’s questionable fedora overshadowed all else, but still it was an impressive feat, nonetheless.
