Olympic Hockey: Boston Bar Erupts As T.J. Oshie Scores Shootout Winner (Video)

There certainly was a ton of excitement leading up to Saturday’s Olympic hockey matchup between Team USA and Team Russia. That was evidenced by bars and restaurants across the country.

Fans of the American red, white and blue flocked to the local watering holes bright and early for the highly anticipated matchup. Photos and videos were all over social media as the game began with plenty of U.S. hockey pride on display.

The scene was no different in Boston as fans gathered at bars in and around the city. Those fans were treated to an unforgettable hockey game as well, with the Americans pulling out a thrilling shootout win. One bar in Boston absolutely erupted in pure joy and exultation as St. Louis Blues forward T.J. Oshie scored the shootout’s final goal to give the Americans the win.
