Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice might be in much more trouble than previously thought following a weekend incident with his fiancée, Janay Palmer, that resulted in him being arrested.

A police summons claims that Rice hit his fiancée, “rendering her unconscious,” on Sunday in Atlantic City, N.J., per Mike Hellgren of CBS Baltimore.

Another summons obtained by Hellgren states Palmer also struck Rice.

A video showing Rice pulling Palmer out of an elevator at Revel Casino surfaced Wednesday on TMZ’s website. TMZ’s report stated that police have video evidence confirming the incident between Rice and Palmer.

“The video that’s being posted by TMZ Sports is not the complete event, but is merely the end result of what transpired,” Rice’s lawyer, Michael Diamondstein, said Wednesday. “We’ll assure the public that when this matter is fully tried and completed, you’ll have a better understanding of what happened, and we ask the public to reserve making any judgment until all of the facts come out.”

The Ravens have not publicly responded to TMZ’s video. Rice is entering the third season of a five-year, $35 million contract.
