Registration for the opportunity to purchase Boston Red Sox Opening Day tickets, Red Sox-Yankees tickets and Budweiser Right Field Roof Deck tickets begins at noon ET on Wednesday, Feb. 12.
The 2014 Random Drawings presented by MasterCard invites fans to register at RedSox.com. The opportunity to register will run from noon Wednesday, Feb. 12, through noon on the day of each drawing.
Two separate random drawings will take place. There is no fee to register, and fans can register for both drawings at once.
To ensure these high-demand tickets are available to as many different fans as possible, the Red Sox will limit purchases to four tickets per customer per drawing.
The complete registration, notification and sale schedule for the two drawings are as follows:
Registration period begins: Noon ET, Wednesday, Feb. 12
Opening Day/Yankees games ticket drawing:
Registration period ends: Noon ET, Monday, Feb. 17
Winners notified via email (with instructions how to participate): Wednesday, Feb. 19
Online purchase for drawing winners: Noon-9 p.m. ET, Saturday, Feb. 22
Budweiser Right Field Rook Deck ticket drawing
Registration period ends: Noon ET, Monday, Feb. 24
Winners notified via email with instructions how to participate: Wednesday, Feb. 26
Online purchase for drawing winners: Noon-9 p.m. ET, Saturday, March 1
Schedule for phone sales
For fans who do not have Internet access, or those not selected in the random online drawings, tickets will be sold by phone at (877) RED-SOX9 for each of the three categories according to the following schedule:
Yankees games/Opening Day (while supplies last): Beginning at 2 p.m. ET on Saturday, Feb. 22
Budweiser Right Field Roof Deck tickets (while supplies last): Beginning at 2 p.m. ET on Saturday, March 1
Green Monster tickets are not included as part of this year’s random drawing. Information on how to purchase Green Monster tickets will be announced in the coming weeks.
